The SPFFA Community Benefit Fund is a non-profit charitable fund run by Sarnia Firefighters. Every dollar raised through charitable event or your donation goes right back into Sarnia-Lambton. We give back to local charities that need urgent funding to assist them in reaching their mission!

It is with heavy hearts that we acknowledge the tragic loss of this young individual in our community. On behalf of the Sarnia Firefighters, we extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all those affected by this devastating loss.
We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to all first responders and everyone who assisted on scene.Lambton College is deeply saddened to share that an individual has died following a shooting early this morning during a Student Administrative Council event at a pub on the Sarnia Main Campus. Two other individuals sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
This loss is a profound tragedy. We extend our deepest condolences to the individual’s family, loved ones and friends and to everyone affected by this staggering loss. Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by this senseless act of violence.
The Sarnia campus remains closed today, Friday, April 10. This closure is inclusive of all classes and services at the Main Campus, Fire School, Skilled Trades Training Centre, EarlyON Child & Family Centre, Community Employment Services, and Capstone's Bistro. The Ottawa Campus is not impacted. We ask our community to please avoid campus.
Support is being provided to members of the Lambton College community through Counselling & Wellness and the Employee and Family Assistance Plan.
We continue to work closely with Sarnia Police Service as they investigate. We thank Sarnia Police Service and emergency services for their response.
