The Sarnia Professional Firefighters Association represents 125 members and their families. Your Sarnia Firefighters are a team of highly skilled men and women dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of the City of Sarnia.

HOW WE HELP
The SPFFA Community Benefit Fund is a non-profit charitable fund run by Sarnia Firefighters. Every dollar raised through charitable event or your donation goes right back into Sarnia-Lambton. We give back to local charities that need urgent funding to assist them in reaching their mission!

Today, we pause to remember the six Canadian Armed Forces members who lost their lives on July 4, 2007, in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan.
On that day, their armoured vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device, marking one of the deadliest single incidents for Canada during the Afghanistan mission.
We continue to salute their bravery, their dedication, and their unwavering commitment to service:

Service arrangements have been made for the LODD of Brother Hanley. Friends and family will be received at Smith Funeral Home, Monday, July 20, 2026, 6-8pm. A memorial service will be held the following day at 11am. Firefighter walk through details will be provided in the coming days.
